Year 4 have been looking at lots of different stories set in World War Two! We decided to act some of them out so we could feel just what it was like to be an evacuee. Have a look at our photos, we are brilliant actors and actresses!!
Year 4 read 'Friend or Foe' by Micheal Morpurgo as their main text for our 'Stories from historical settings' Literacy unit, and we loved it! We decided to compare the evacuation scene in the story to the one in the film 'Goodnight Mr Tom'. We then split up into groups, and we acted out the two different scenes to compare and contrast them! We had alot of fun watching eachothers performances!
