We have had lots of gingery fun this week!!!

We have been investigating how to measure and used good old Gingerbread Men to help us out. Can you believe it took 22 Gingerbread Men to get from Miss Gillis' chair to the door!!!!!

We also had lots of fun making up our own ending to the GIngerbread Man story. The Gingerbread Man hopped onto the fox's nose and then...

Callum Mc says "the Gingerbread Man goes on a rollercoaster and turns into a real man."

Freya says "The Gingerbread Man jumps onto a rock and gets into a hot air balloon and goes for a party."

Katie says "A fairy saves him and takes him to a hill and they have a party."

Callum S says "He jumped off the fox and the fox was sinking and the transformers came and transformed into a machine and the Gingerbread Man drived the transformer."

We enjoyed making our own moving Gingerbread Men and used them to retell our story.

While the Gingerbread Men were cooking someone left the door open and one escaped! We went searching for him around the school.

Little flour footprints gave us a clue to where he had been and led us to notes which had been left.

We searched and we searched...

and eventually found him in Mrs Howe's office.

And he is was in bother!!!!

We iced our Gingerbread Man and enjoyed them as a snack. Freya only ate one leg but was worried if she left it it might run away. After being reassured it couldnt run with only one leg, Freya said that it could hop away so she ate its other leg just in case!!!
