We have been looking at the story of Goldilocks and have enjoyed basing our learning around it.
We have been looking at size and descibed the Three Bears as being big, medium sized and small. We also thought of other words to describe them such as tiny, huge, large and gigantic. We helped Mummy Bear by sorting out all of the Bears belongings depending on their size.
We made our very own Goldilocks and the Three Bears puppets and used them to retell the story in our own words.
We also decided to have a Teddy Tea Party and wrote invitations to invite our own teddies to school for a tea party - there was lots of porridge.
After reading the story throughout the week we were all surprised at how naughty Goldilocks was - can you believe she went into someone's house that she didn't even know???? We invited the Community Police Officer into school to talk to us about Stranger Danger and realised how lucky Goldilocks was that the Three Bears were nice.
The Community Police Officer told us if we ever see a stranger and they try to talk to us we must YELL, RUN and TELL.

Lots of fun activities related to the story here including what looks to be a fun tea party and very wise words from the Community Police Officer.
