Halloweeeeen!

Year 4 had alot of fun at the Halloween disco! Have a look at our photos!
Then on the last morning or term, we made 3D halloween bags in Numeracy using nets of shapes, and filled them with lots of sweets! We also made skeleton or monster danglers and took part in halloween cauldron puzzles and challenges!

We had alot of fun at the Halloween disco!!
Then the next day at school we put our learning in Numeracy into practise!! We had been learning about nets which fold up make 3D shapes, so we decided to make 3D halloween sweet bags in either a cat or pumpkin design, using a net!
We also tried to solve a really tricky Halloween puzzle! Could you make a potion that contains twenty four legs using bags, spiders and lizards? We tried to think of all the different combinations of these animals we could use to add up to 24 legs! There was lots of ways to do it!
